The Guild of Photographers was originally set up as Guild of Wedding Photographers in 1988 but now is made up of a variety of photographers pro’s to hobbyists across a all genre’s of photography.

Pixsy is really easy to use you just upload the images which you want to be monitored to your Pixsy account. You can have up to 30,000 images monitored with this free Pixsy membership available with your Guild membership.
If you have a SmugMug account all your photos in your SmugMug account which are in public galleries can be monitored by Pixsy too by just pressing sync.

IOM Image of the month photo competition
Once you are a member of the Guild of Photographers you are then able to enter their well known monthly photo competition at a small cost. If you are awarded a Bronze, Silver or Gold award in the IOM you can download the award logo’s from the Guild’s website in the download section and put them on your award winning images.
By entering the IOM you can try and become a member of the Photographers Bar

Photography training events
The Guild hold some great training events, due to Covid-19 these have been on hold. But throughout 2020 and still continuing the Guild has organised webinars, these have been brilliant and what the Guild is about which is helping photographers.
You can submit your work to the Guild to measure your photography skills, and gain a membership status.
All members of the Guild are registered members, then by submitting your work you can progress from registered to Qualified then work towards your Craftsman to finally Master Craftsman.
